In two sections, you’ll glide up to 2,112 metres quickly and comfortably – and immediately notice how different the world feels up here. The mountain station Somtgant is the starting point for beautiful circular hikes, stroller-friendly themed trails and action-packed descents by bike, mountain cart or monster scooter. In winter, Savognin transforms into a paradise for families and piste lovers alike: with the Flurin kids’ slope, the La Nars ski paradise, a snowpark and up to 1,500 metres of continuous descent. Switzerland's largest nature park
Parc Ela lies at the heart of Graubünden and unites three language cultures – Romansh, German and Italian – where one in three people speaks Surmiran. From the deep gorge of the Schinschlucht to the imposing Piz Kesch, the colours and shapes of the landscape change again and again. Culture at the heart of the mountains
In the middle of Val Surses, in the village of Riom, an extraordinary cultural institution has established itself: Origen. The Origen Festival Cultural brings professional music and dance theatre to the alpine mountain world – at unusual venues that become part of the stage themselves. Every year, internationally renowned artists transform the region into a stage full of new perspectives and surprising encounters. For many guests, a visit to Origen is the cultural highlight of their stay in Val Surses – a contrasting counterpart to the natural experience of Parc Ela, and just as much a part of the region’s identity.
